Snøstorm og kulde i Pakistan – mange døde
Minst 21 mennesker har mistet livet i en kraftig snøstorm i Punjab-provinsen nordøst i Pakistan.
Det er like nord for Islamabad, ved turiststedey Murree, at snøen har lavet ned. Minst tusen biler står fast og er innesnødd, skriver BBC.
Det er svært uvanlig med snø i dette området og mer enn 100.000 biler har tatt seg til området de siste dagene for å ta snøfallet i øyensyn selv. Det har skapt trafikkork og bidratt til problemene.
Innenriksministeren i Punjab ber folk holde seg unna.
Det er også uvanlig kaldt i store deler av det nordlige Pakistan og sykehusene fylles opp av pasienter med ulike plager, som forkjølelse. Folk bes holde seg inne, skriver avisen Dawn.
